We offer a unique program that combines many aspects of staying in the Tatra Mountains, starting with getting to know mountain animals and educational lectures at the Tatra Education Park, through workshops and experimentation with nature, to a trip to the Tatras with a Tatra guide.
The entire offer is prepared in a comprehensive and thoughtful way to maximize the benefits for participants, their education, fun, and active rest.
By choosing “Tatra Adventure”, the group organizer selects valuable activities under the guidance of expert educators. Our offer is also based on our own, professional infrastructure and educational facilities at the Tatra Education Park.
1. Greeting of participants by educators.
2. 'Among the Mountain Animals' - lectures and getting to know animals.
Meeting with animals from the Tatra Educational Park. Lectures and tours under the guidance of an educator and animal enthusiast. The group walks among the enclosures for mountain animals, and also participates in a show of birds of prey. We will meet marmots, foxes, deer, sheep, owls, and eagles, among others. Participants learn about the habits and behaviors of animals, their diet, and living conditions in the mountain environment.

3. 'Among the Trees: Discovery and Navigation.'
A walk in a forest area, partly on walkways and paths, partly among the trees and forest floor. The group walks to the forest to discover 'what's in the grass.' We look behind and under the trees, observe roots, old trees, and young forest. We learn about the ecology and role of the forest. We find out what animals live in the forests of this region and how they deal with the mountain nature. We approach the lively ponds, follow the stream, and find local rocks. We observe plants, mosses, and lichens. The group also learns about navigation and using maps. Participants are equipped with magnifying glasses to better look at the details and can collect their exhibits for further adventures. Additionally, during the walk, the participants will come across educational boards, pylons, and models to facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and skills. We move in a verified area, in the forest owned by the facility owner.

4. Break.
Return to the heart of the Tatra Educational Park. Rest on the terrace overlooking the enclosure for marmots. The possibility of feeding our animals with special food. Break for a second breakfast for the participants. There is a possibility of ordering ecological catering through the organizer. For younger participants, we have also prepared a playground.

5. 'Through the Naturalist's Eye' - workshops with educational tools and a microscope.
The group takes part in educational workshops conducted in a room with educational equipment, boards, a monitor, and microscopes. The aim of the classes is personal experience of mountain nature elements: rocks, plant fragments, fruits and seeds, cones, and also soil and water analysis. Students better remember and consolidate their knowledge through the use of tools such as magnifying glasses, precision scales, acidity meters, rulers, sieves, and microscopes. The classes are conducted by an educator who gives presentations, shows the board, explains the operation of the tools, and supports in research.

6. 'Białego Valley Ravine' - entering the Tatras with a Tatra guide.
In the early afternoon, we set off on a trail in the Tatras. The group heads to the Tatras for a two-hour trip to the Biały Valley, located 10 minutes away from the Tatra Educational Park. This is an educational excursion, so in addition to admiring the beauty of the Tatra nature and hiking along a rocky gorge at the foot of the walls of Długi Giewont, participants will also gain a solid dose of knowledge, measure the temperature of the stream, and use a rangefinder to peek into an old mine.
The maximum group size is 30 people
In case of a reservation for a larger group, we divide it into two smaller groups starting in parallel (with a change in the order of program implementation)
It is possible to spread the program over two days, with a trip to the Białego Valley Mountains carried out on the second day
The organizer is not responsible for the care of the participants resulting from the regulations of the educational supervisory authority. The group is obliged to have active participation from teachers and group supervisors. The organizer provides necessary field equipment for participants (magnifying glasses, compasses, research tools as described in the program above).
Tatra Educational Park and EduTatry are units specializing in environmental education, based on knowledge and experience. We take the utmost care in implementing the program, adapting its content to the group, engagement, and interest of the audience.
As part of this, we conduct a separate tour mode for younger children, older children, and youth. During classes conducted for grades I-III, we emphasize the transmission of content contained in the curriculum for the subject of environmental education. In the case of classes for grades IV - materials adapted to the nature program, and for grades V-VIII, materials from biology and geography. Additionally, there is the possibility of preparing a customized program by us, focusing more on specific issues such as ecology, climate change, water circulation in nature, birds and animals, weather or safety. Furthermore, with the aim of organizers of green schools and colonies, we offer the possibility of implementing other services and expanding the one-day program to a larger number of days. In such a case, after individual arrangements, we offer more time and tasks carried out in the Tatra Educational Park area (e.g. getting to know animals, treasure hunts, field games), trips to the Tatras with a Tatra guide (e.g. Kościeliska Valley, Gąsienicowa Valley, etc.), or joint sightseeing of other attractions of Podhale. Finally, we also invite informal groups within the framework of homeschooling education and organizers of trips for high school groups and adults. For these groups, we offer individual sightseeing programs adapted to age and interests.
Bookings can only be made with a minimum one-month advance notice, either by phone or by completing a registration form.
For bookings made before 01.05, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the service fee is required.
For bookings made between 01.05 and 31.08, a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the service fee is required and must be paid within 48 hours of booking.
The remaining amount must be paid in advance, no later than 7 days before the planned tour date.
An invoice will be issued after full payment has been made. A pro-forma invoice can be requested. We only accept one group per day. If weather conditions prevent the program from taking place, we offer a refund of 25% of the service fee and stationary activities at the Tatra Educational Park, which include lectures, animal exploration, creating a souvenir from Zakopane, workshops with educational tools and a microscope (total 3.5-4h).
In case the client wishes to reschedule the program to another day, not related to weather conditions preventing the program, we offer the possibility of conducting stationary activities at the Tatra Educational Park, which include lectures, animal exploration, creating a souvenir from Zakopane, workshops with educational tools and a microscope (total 3.5-4h), with no refund of the remaining amount paid.
The new tour date is arranged based on the schedule and the ability of the Tatra Educational Park and EduTatry to provide the service.

7. “Handmade” - a handmade souvenir from Zakopane.
At the end of the day, there will be some manual tasks. Under the guidance of an instructor, the group will use semi-finished products, components made of natural materials, wood and metal provided by the organizer, as well as paints and decorations to create a handmade souvenir from Zakopane.
This task will be the culmination of the Tatra Adventure day and will surely evoke positive emotions and memories associated with this day for a long time.
