Tatra Educational Park is a private initiative aimed at creating a special place for visitors to the Podhale region. The name itself describes what you can expect from us.

Tatra - refers to the nature, animals and plants of this region.

Park - refers to its original meaning as a place where we can rest and enjoy the surrounding nature, park also understood as a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and a place harmonizing with nature.

Educational - refers to the transmission of knowledge about nature, only through interaction with it, everyone can see up close, feed and learn many interesting things about our animals during activities such as 'Meeting with the Marmot' or 'Falconry Show' or 'Fox Training'.

With a sufficiently large area in front of the Tatra National Park, right next to the Wielka Krokiew, the only right idea for the protection and development of this area was to create a place that everyone should visit before going to the National Park.

Our idea is to provide knowledge that will allow experiencing the Tatra nature in a more conscious and responsible way. We put special emphasis on the form of knowledge transfer to the youngest, who, as we know, absorb this knowledge best through play and direct contact with animals.

We want to become one of the main points on the Podhale map, which is worth visiting, and Zakopane itself will certainly benefit from this project.

At the moment, the first stage of the project is already available to visitors, and I am convinced that people of all ages, both the youngest and the oldest, will find something for themselves here.

At the same time, we are constantly working to increase the attractiveness of this place, by expanding it and adding more areas of education, nature and fun.
