These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the Tatra Educational Park, hereinafter referred to as "TPE" or the "Park".
The organizer and managing entity of the Tatra Educational Park is:
hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".
Entering the premises of TPE constitutes acknowledgment of these Terms and Conditions and acceptance of their provisions.
These Terms and Conditions are available on the TPE website, at the ticket office / customer service point, and on the Park premises.
TPE is an educational, nature-based and recreational site. Its premises include animals, nature exhibits and elements of educational infrastructure.
Opening hours, ticket prices, the schedule of talks, shows and educational activities, and the availability of specific attractions are communicated to visitors on the TPE website, at the ticket office, and in the Organizer's informational materials.
The Organizer reserves the right to temporarily change opening hours, the activity schedule, or the availability of selected parts of the Park, in particular due to weather conditions, animal welfare, technical works or safety considerations.
Access to the TPE premises is possible upon purchase of a valid entrance ticket or on the basis of another document entitling the holder to entry.
The ticket entitles the holder to enter the TPE premises to the extent resulting from the type of ticket purchased and the Organizer's current offer.
The ticket price list is available on the TPE website, at the ticket office, and in the online sales system, if online sales are conducted.
Visitors should keep their ticket for the entire duration of their stay on the TPE premises and present it at staff's request.
Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee the ability to see all animals or to take part in all activities at every moment of the visit. The visibility of animals and the course of certain activities may depend on their natural behavior, weather conditions, safety considerations or staff decisions.
Persons violating these Terms and Conditions, failing to comply with staff instructions, or posing a threat may be asked to leave the TPE premises without the right to demand a refund of the ticket price.
Visitors are required to use TPE in accordance with its intended purpose, these Terms and Conditions, the markings located on the Park premises, and staff instructions.
On the TPE premises, staff may organize talks, shows, educational activities, feeding demonstrations, and educational conversations about the region's fauna, flora and nature.
Talks, shows and activities take place according to the current schedule, which may be adjusted depending on the number of visitors, weather conditions, animal behavior, and current organizational capacity.
Visitors are required to move only along the designated paths, routes and areas made available for visiting.
It is forbidden to enter exhibit backstage areas, go behind fences, enter animal enclosures, enter technical rooms, or enter areas marked as inaccessible to visitors.
Due to the outdoor nature of the Park, visitors should exercise caution, especially when moving on natural, wet, slippery, uneven or snow-covered surfaces.
Animals on the TPE premises should be treated with respect and calm.

Children and minors may stay on the TPE premises only under the supervision of an adult.
Parents, legal guardians or the adults supervising children are responsible for the children's safety and for any damage caused by them.
Leaving children unsupervised on the TPE premises is forbidden, in particular near animal enclosures, fences, bodies of water, and elements of the educational and recreational infrastructure.

Using photographs, films or recordings made on the TPE premises for commercial, advertising, promotional or media purposes requires the Organizer's prior consent.
When publishing photographs or films taken on the TPE premises on social media or other public channels, the Organizer requests that the location where the material was taken be tagged, or that it be stated that the material was taken on the premises of the Tatra Educational Park.
The Organizer may take photographs and video recordings on the TPE premises documenting the Park's activities, in particular talks, shows, educational activities, events, the visiting atmosphere, and the Park's operation.
The materials referred to in paragraph 4 may be used for informational, educational, promotional and documentation purposes of TPE, in particular on the Organizer's website, on social media, in promotional materials, and in event coverage.
If a visitor does not consent to being individually recorded or to the publication of their image, they should report this to staff at the ticket office or customer service point before entering the TPE premises. In the case of children, such notice is given by a parent or legal guardian.
The above notice does not apply to situations in which a given person is merely an incidental part of a larger whole, such as a group of visitors, a landscape, an event, or a general account of the Park's operation, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Visitors use TPE with due care and with respect for their own safety, the safety of other people and animals, and the Park's infrastructure.
The Organizer is not liable for damage resulting from a violation of these Terms and Conditions, failure to comply with staff instructions, or improper use of TPE's infrastructure.
The Organizer is not liable for items left unattended on the TPE premises.
Any observed hazards, damage to infrastructure, concerning animal behavior, or situations requiring intervention should be reported to TPE staff immediately.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to the TPE premises to persons whose behavior indicates that they are under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances, or whose behavior is aggressive or may endanger safety.

The submission should include contact details for the person submitting it, a description of the matter, and — if applicable — the ticket number, date of visit, or other information enabling the matter to be reviewed.
The Organizer reviews submissions within 30 days of receipt.
In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the generally applicable provisions of law shall apply.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The current version is available on the TPE website and at the ticket office / customer service point.
These Terms and Conditions have been in effect since April 15, 2021.
